Later in the game I discovered there is IMAP support. Now I'm getting my tag/folder structure from the old email account. Bizarrely, Google Apps doesn't explicitly support Gmail's IMAP server - I have to describe it as Unsupported/Other!!!
Surely this is one migration path they should more clearly support?

Coincidentally - I turned off Jaiku SMS notification yesterday. When your phone beeps several times an hour you begin to ignore it. Then you start missing "normal" SMS messages which you would otherwise have chosen to read and act upon instantly.
